- friends ... it depends on what you exactly want this feature to do
- blog: standard feature in ez webin
- profile page: standard feature of eZ Publish
- pm system: take a look at http://projects.ez.no/ezpm
- site bookmark system: you want the user to store bookmarks of pages on the site itself? this is standard feature of eZ Publish
- user groups: standard feature of eZ Publish

i'm want the feature so users can create theyre own blogs.

the groups also includes "Forums" "Blogs" "News" "Administration Panel for Group Admin".
- [Pm System] Yay that one is okey dokey.
- [Profile Page] A Profile page like Myspace.com or Youtube.com.
with functions to add custom boxs and widgets from widgetbox.com
and a default box with statistic about that users.
like Name and Age and a small description.

also custom colors and backgrounds.

The problem (and advantage at the same time) with eZ Publish is that it is generic to extremes. You need to make much effort to achieve some functionalities if you want to incorporate eZ's content model (nodes, objects, relations, access, workflows, datatypes etc...).

Some extensions are (almost) completely independent (like PM), but in most cases you DO want to make use of content model because otherwise it would be using eZ Publish merely as an application framework (and then it may not be the best choice available). So I would see the groups functionality, as I have recently described it:

No good solution out there yet, I believe.

Especially because some of those functionalities should be interconnected! A series of single contributions has its weakness - no one body seeing it as one project.

Hi, how are we going with the "wanted" extensions?

I don't think it's moved on since then... ;(

- Users can have their own channels. <b>What do you mean by channels?</b>
- Users can create a community Groups. <b>Read my above post.</b>
- Users can add other users on their freinds lists or something similar. <b>This is doable, but where do you want to take this further?</b>
- Users can comment on the videos <b>Probably just like commenting any other type of content in eZ Publish.</b>
