Hi All !

I'm looking for an XML-RPC implementation in eZ Publish but I can't find any existing extension nor an ezc component that will realy ease my pain.

Am I missing something ?

If I'm right, I'm thinking about using PEAR's XML-RPC implementation [1] in a module
Any feed back on this ?

Hi Hugues -

What eZ Publish options have you looked at?

Have you looked at ezjsCore?

It provides several functions, but a nice piece is an Ajax framework including jQuery.

Hi hugues, welcome to the community.

You have surely missed something: the ggwebservices extension (http://projects.ez.no/ggwebservices). Currently the state-of-the-art webservices extension for eZ Publish:

  • maintained by recognized international expert on xmlrpc/jsonrpc - the guy behind the phpxmlrpc library (that's me :) )
  • groks rest, soap, xmlrpc and jsonrpc (using php native xmlrpc and soap extensions)
  • allows for creation of both ws consumers and providers
  • builds on top of ezjscore providing an alternative ajaxy syntax (ie. jsonrpc compliant)
  • builtin graphical debugger
  • and much more...

Hi ! Thanks for your replies.

ggwebservices looks great (Don't know how I mess it, sorry...) !

I'll give it a try to see if it fits my client's needs.
