Has anybody managed to intergrate x-standard into ezpublish? (http://www.xstandard.com/ )

Could you point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

Just out of curiousity - what is wrong with the official Online Editor (now under GPL) or SJSD which is a great contribution based on FckEditor?

The developers of the extensions would be the people to talk to for tips,

Basically our organization uses X-standard because;
It generates web standards compliant output and you can allow uses access to predefined style to make their content fit with the style of the site.

It is much harder for a user to break the look and feel using x-standard. It is the best editor we have found for allowing flexibility of content with an element of 'safety'.

This issue is the sticking point at the moment as to whether or not we adopt ezp as a standard cms for our clients.

Has this integration ever been attempted?

Are there alternatives which meet these two basic needs?

Thanks

hi jones,

I have also raised the issue of x-standard integration and ended up with this: Have a look

http://ez.no/community/forum/developer/xstandard_xhtml_strict_or_1_1_wysiwyg_editor

I am also quite keen in integration.

Yeah, I'd seen that.

I was hoping some progress had been made.

I am happy to get my hands dirty and have a go but I simply do not now where to start.

I guess nobody knows where to start either.
