Top Drop css menu display problems (order and IE8)

Angeliki Shearstone	Friday 03 July 2009 1:04:15 am Hi, I am using the Topdrop menu extension and it seems to work for IE7 and Firefox (not sure about IE6 yet) apart from the fact that when the menu drops it hides behind other elements on the page. I tried using z-index b ut that didn't solve the problem. The other problem is that in IE8 it doesn't display at all. It behaves in a weird way and the sub items look squashed and in the wrong place. Any suggestions?

It's a CSS problem but it needs a fix. It's like the margins, bg colours and padding need fixing...
