Hello!
I am making a site for artists, designer, the intention is to allow any registered user to create their own tree of nodes with all their information.
artist - work - information - contact
and so on...
I wanted to allow create xxx classif ( parent class is yyy and was created by the current user logged in)
I cannot (seems to be not allowed) to set the rule "if parent class - owner-self"
I intend to do a different approach:
1. get the user ID (logged in) 2. get the parent class (get the creation user id)3. See if they are the same (parent was created by the current user)
Add the class options to the website toolbar if condition is set.
Is there any other way of doing this? A different approach?
thanks

"if parent class - owner-self / owner-group-self" support is one of the new features in 4.1.Until then it can be archived with a custom view or some template logic, not as secure or clean but it could work.
