Hi,

I don't think it is a bug eZ because on another instance of ez4 (in VM or another plate-form for example) I don't have this problem

I would like to have some hints to fix this problem.

My eZ works on a Debian with a remote database.
There was a difference of date between the web server and the database, I fixed this difference.
But nothing the problem is still there, I must clear the cache with --purge whenever I want to apply a change of role.

(For example I delete the user/login to Anonymous, and the site is always ok, the change has no effect until I clear and purge the cache)

Perhaps some information is not correct in the database because of the date difference ?

I just upgraded with ez4.0.3, and my webserver have the system rights on the file;)
Ez is not yet in the cluster mode.

I don't know where to look for.

Someone have an idea ?

Thanks
Séb

Hi I had the same experience, the final issue was that i had incorrect cache blocks in my pagelayout.tpl.

Check out those blocks and make sure they are all properly closed.

Another way of checking this is to use the default pagelayout and see if the problem persists. If it does not, it means that your code is involved in this problem..

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Jean-yves

I have make the test with the empty page layout just

Hi,

I found the origin of my problem, if I can help somebody.

In fact, my webserver is an virtual machine of the file server and the system date didn't correspond into the two systems....

This stupid error affected the clear of the cache naturally ;)
