Hello all,

I have add a new section on my ez publish installation its id is 8. I had assigned it to a subtree ( whicth contains subitems ) but when a do :

- fetch(content,list,hash(parent_node_id,node_id)) to display all subitems nothing are displayed .

-on click on a bond of subitems (who belong to that subtree ) i have an error like access denied (i must log into to see the content of this node).
i don't anderstand this behavior bacause i don't assign to my subtree a restricted section.

thanks in advance.

Hi. By default, eZpublish restrict access to new sections you create. So if you have assigned this sections to a subtree, this could be the reason of that access denied error.

I would try to give anomymous role access to the section you have created.
I think this will solve your problem.

Hi again,

I forgot this detail.

Go to the Admin interface, "Setup" tab, and then "Role and policies" on the left menu.
For anonymous role, on the same line, you have a small pen on the right: click on it to edit role.

Now, you may see a line with "Content" and "Read" policy : edit it (with the pen on the right).
You will have a select list : with CTRL key pressed, add your section.

Click "Ok" twice to validate your change. You may clear cache also...

Good luck !
