Hi Everybody, I've found a strange thing in using the 'package' feature. To say the truth, I think it is a bug, but I would like some more advice about it.
We use eZP (3.6.4) as the kernel of our web sites, and we have developped tools and extensions around it. As in any development process, things change, and we have many version of these. For instance, the class definition evolve.
To be able to upgrade an existing site, I thought that I will use the package feature, that seemed nicely done. B ut it does not work. When I install a package that include a class modification, the existing instances of the classes does not see the modification, although the new ones do.
For instance, I have a package with a new attribute added to the class 'article'. I am unable to set a value to this attribute in the old instances. New ones see have them.
Furthermore, if after installation, I still add a new attribute to the class 'article', the old instances have this new attribute, but not those that were in the package... What do you think of this? Eric
