Has anyone worked with object relations? I'm trying to understand this concept and I can't seem to find any documentation about this datatype.
What I'm trying to do is to create a "course license" by creating a relation between user objects and course objects.
For a user to be able to run a course there should be a relation between the user and the course.
Is the object relation suitable for this type of problem or are there other mechanisms that would work better?
I've managed to create a relation between one course and one user, but one course should have relations to many users. How would I do that?
If someone has a deeper understanding of the object relations system I'd be most gratefull for any guidance on how this stuff works.

I've tried the object relation list but then I can only create new users, not select from already created users. (Don't know if this makes sense...)
I feel I'm fumbling in the dark here, all contributions that can shed a bit of light is warmly appreciated.

Which version of eZ are you using. I would recommend using an object relation list within 3.3 for this. Which datatype are you using?

Hi Paul!
Thanks for the reply.
We're using 3.2-4 and unless someone can give some very good reasons to upgrade I don't think we will. Not yet.
It seems though as the object relations might be a good reason, but I'm also looking into creating a separate table for storing licenses and use my own module to handle them.
If you could tell me more about the object relation versus related objects and the object relation list in 3.3 I'd be most grateful.
