I read the technical doc (http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_0/features/notifications) but I couldn't find out how to develop my own notification event/handler. Are there examples, doc or extensions I can study ? How events are triggerred ? Thanks

I am trying to create a custom notification event so that a reminder email is sent before the end date of a task/calendar event. Much like an alarm. I have just opened a topic ("Reminder/Alarm Notification") with my progress so far but I am stuck and can't seem to figure it out. Any advice will be much appreciated.
