Hi Paul ..

Is this part of svn update:
"
svn: failed to delete dir 'design': local mods found within.
svn: Left locally modified or unversioned files
"

?!

Not really, unless this is due to a PCI parity error (highly unlikely ;-) )

I think this is one of the "dirty" things that gets copied over from zev.ez.no.

When do you get this error?

There still appears an error in one of the the DNS servers for ez.no (ns3.nc-spectrum.no) where pubsvn.ez.no points to the main svn server (which you cannot access directly).

If you cannot reach the pubsvn.ez.no server, there are two possible workarounds:

- if you regularly use svn updates, create an entry in your local hosts file with

193.190.184.10 pubsvn.ez.no

- you can use http://ezpsvn.sckcen.be for new checkouts or just for browsing the source code repository

Hi for those who tried accessing pubsvn.ez.no: the entire network where the server is housed is down since a few hours. I don't know when it will be restored, hopefully tomorrow morning.

Hello

The svn server for the ezpublish tree wasn't very much useful for a large part today: the master server was updated to a more recent svn version which I found out after failure messages of syncing the public svn server..

I updated (lengthy process) everything, including viewcvs so service is back to normal as far as I can see.

With respect to client versions, if your current installed version worked, you can probably continue to use it (tested witn svn client versions 0.30 and 0.31). But it is always better to upgrade to a current version (0.36 is the server version), especially for the contributors!

viewcvs is partly broken after the upgrade to svn 0.36. The most recent version viewcvs appears to be not compatible with svn 0.36 due to changed python bindings (and svn API).

When a fix becomes available, it will be installed right away.
