After that when I insert image to article class , image size shows as 'B' in admin interface and even I cannot display the images in the usersite access. No other class with image attribute has this problem.I think it is becuase of I have changed the intro identifier(summary) to text line.Any one have an idea what is the issue is this .Only article class this problem

Plz help Thanks in advance Romeo

This is really odd, but the change of other attribute doesn't have anything to do with image attribute. Are you sure that you didn't change something else?

Ivo, I can tell the issue more clearly. So you may get me.

I have set the text line length of Title(title identifier) and 500 characters text line

then Short title (short_title identifier) as 500 characters text line

summary(intro identifier ) as 1000 characters text line(changed from xml block)n

I can see the images in the show preveiw button in admin interface when I send publish an article which short_title,title textline contain less than 100 characters.

If I put more than 450 characters in (title identifier,short_title identifier), I cannot see the images and in image attribute it shows its size as "B".Is this is a bug. But when I try doing this with less num of text line characters i can update the image successfully in article class

short_title identifier

If I put more than 450 characters in

Hello again,

I confirm this problems on my demo 4.3 installation. What you are experiencing is some kind of side effect when "name" attributes (title and short title) are longer then 255.

Thing is that text line attributes generally can be longer then 255 but "title" and "short_title" are used for building the object name which is 255 max. System should just shorten the name then, of course but seems that there is a bug which is then causing image problems.

I suggest to you 2 things:

- set "title" and "short title" to default 255 length (if you need more, just create one new attribute "long_title" which will not be used in object name generation, and use it in your templates)

- report a bug to http://issues.ez.no

Thank you Ivo, what you are telling is seems to be correct. Right after changing the Title and short title to less textline (almost 125) it is working and there is no problems with image. Thanks a lot for this important info. Romeo
