how to edit a pending item ?

John Mina	Thursday 15 June 2006 2:19:55 am hello I am using a workflow to control the date and time to publish articles How would i allow my editors editing the pending items before having them published , while they are still pending to the time of publishing i mean Can this ever happen ? James Robertson	Wednesday 28 June 2006 8:01:56 pm I have a similar request. I need the approver of an item to be able to edit that item before it is publish (not simple approve or deny it). How can this be done? [I notice the constant EZ_COLLABORATION_APPROVE_STATUS_DEFERRED is defined in kernel/classes/collaborationhandlers/ezapprove/ezapprovecollaborationhandler.php with the comment "/// The contentobject was deferred and will be a draft again for reediting.". But the code for handling this 'status' seems to have been commented out in favour of performing the same action as 'Denied' status. Does this mean that this feature is no longer supported?]

Hello , can you please help us with these issues about the pending items My question is a bout a pending item waiting a date and time to be published. how would i edit/ delete/ or do anythign to that one Currently when i edit anything , i get a new copy of the article and they both got posted in date and time , looking forward to hearing back ASAP Thanks John
John Mina	Tuesday 17 October 2006 1:20:30 am James, for your request, when you view the article in the pending items , you can find there a user view or admin view on the left side of the screen There you can choose to open the admin view and click on edit . But the problem i face that i get a new copy not really edited , that is for my case not sure how it wll do for urs Let me know good luck John
James Robertson	Tuesday 17 October 2006 3:21:35 pm Thanks for the help John. Unfortunately, I may not have explained my problem fully. When a user, not an Administrator, published certain content on our site, we have a workflow that requires theis content to be approved by an administrator. However, the only options the administrator has are to either approve or deny the publication. There seems to be no way for them to edit the object before approval.
