How to create my own binaryFileHandler?

Hi,

Has someone ever created his own binary file handler, and give me some hints how to do it?

I already created a folder with the right class in the kernel folder, and wrote the name into the ini file.
But ez seems to ignore the ini setting.
(changes from ezfilepassthrough to ezfiledirect dont seem to change something either).
