how to call the attributes from menu..?

In my Site menus are the category items (ie, My TOP menu will contain HOME, BOOKS, NOTES, and About us) if any body clicks on book then it should dispaly the content of related price. how can i do this , i tried by creating section and override file but it shows nothing.
