enum value in uploadhandler

Hi,

I'm trying to develop an finest uploadHanlder : set attribute values, filters (like in override confuguration file), etc ...

I have problem with default values like enum and in general all content which is not string or simple type.

Is there some information/exemple about creation of "complex" object or setting these attributes?
