Hi,

How can I edit site URLs? For example:

I have this URL .../index.php/content/view/full/2/(attribute1)/1/(attribute2)/2

And I want this .../section1

Thanks,

David

Maybe the URL Alias feature is the thing you need?

Yes, I tried it. But when I create an object, the system automatically creates an alias with its name. If I create another alias. Clicking on the link to the object is using the alias whit the name. For example:

I have an object with name What is...? and its automatic URL alias is What_is

When I click on its link, it redirects to .../index.php/What_is

I created a new alias about and its URL is the same.

Hi,

I think you shold describe your problem more precisely.

1. If .../index.php/... is the problem, you should make Vhost rules (check here: http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Installation/Virtual-host-setup) and sometimes http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Reference/Configuration-files/site.ini/SiteAccessSettings/ForceVirtualHost is needed.

2. You can not edit default URL aliases.

3. But you can create new URL alias as Marko mentioned.

When I access a section, I see the URL alias by default. I want to see the aliases that I created.
