I'm trying to create a dynamic, Ajax-enabled (dynamic loading of sub elements) menu for the frontend of an eZP 4.0 site. In other words, it should work as the content structure menu in the admin interface, except for the context-sensitive menus.
Having spent several hours searching the forums I've found plenty of people trying to accomplish the same thing, but no good answers as to have it can be done.
Has anyone done this lately, preferably with a 4.0 or late 3.x installation?

You can try this nice extension "topdrop"http://ez.no/developer/contribs/template_plugins/css_dropdown_top_menu
That is not ajax one but works great.
