Hi,

I have checked the code and I cannot see any references to WSDL.
Has WSDL not been implementing eZ 3.x

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony,

According to the docs (http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/development/kernel/ez_soap_web_services_overview), there's no WSDL support in ezp 3.x. And I'm afraid the SOAP libraries aren't a priority.

I was hoping this was not the case as the docs are almost a year out of date for SOAP.

I know, and little has changed in the libraries since then.

I had my ways with eZSOAP... I recommend using something differend like the PEAR :-)

nusoap is out there too, but I never tried it.

The PEAR does not interop well with CPAN's SOAP interface (the common one, forgot its name)

Few months ago I tried to use eZSoap but I gave it up beacuse:

  1. too complicated to use, doesn't provide a good abstraction layer
  2. not documented
  3. doesn't support wsdl

So I used nusoap which worked fine.

But it would be nice to have eZSoap az a good and usable library inside eZ.

Also this could be a good addition to eZ Components, anyone know why isn't included there?
