Hi,

I've been overwriting templates while I was building my website. Now I want to edit CSS files.

Can I override the CSS I want as the templates? Or have I to create new CSS files?
How do I do it?

Thanks,

David

You can override as the templates or, if you are creating a design extension, you can create a design.ini.append.php file and define a new css file:

[StylesheetSettings]
FrontendCSSFileList[]=yourstyle.css

Then you need to create the yourstyle.css file inside the stylesheets folder of your design folder. Just don't forget that you need to know the priority of your extension is defined in the settings/override/site.ini.append.php

Thanks.

I have enabled debug in the front. Then comes a list of templates that are being used and a button to the right to override it. Then creates an override in the default folder "design/ezflow/override/templates/".

There is any way to do something similar with CSS?

If I do it by modifying the file "design.ini.append.php" where have I to put the new CSS?

Hello David, you need to put the new css inside any stylesheets folder of any of your extensions or in some design folder. Best pratice is create a design extension and put it there, and also all your templates/images/javascripts files.

If you need some more help, just ask.
