Hi,

At the the previous eZP conference, I heard someone mentioning having implemented basic content modification features (create/edit/delete) into the public/user siteaccess. It was also discussed whether such an "admin interface light" should be included in the eZP distribution.

The way I see it, this could be done simply by checking whether a user could edit/deleted the viewed object, and display the appropriate buttons to perform those actions, in addition to a drop down list of classes from which nodes could be created under the currently viewed node.

We are planning to do something similar for one of our clients in the near future, and are therefore wondering if anyone else has done something similar, and would be as kind as to share their experiences.

It would also be interesting to know if this is something that eZ will include in the distro in the near future.

Sincerely,

Hi,

I didn't find much info about this in the documentation, so I wrote short text about it here:

Hope you find this helpful :)

Hi Kristian,

Thanks a lot!. The list of classes available for creation was especially helpful.

Sincerely,
