Checking if user has just created content

Hi,

Is there a way to check if user has just created content ?
On my site, the visitors can create content (class named "contact"). So when this is done, they are brought back to the container node.
So when they're brought here by the creation of content, I'd like to display a message like "Thank you bla bla bla bla" or even bring them to an other node.

Is this possible ?
