Contactivity developed a website for TIN, the Dutch Theatre Institute, in 2007. This multilingual website includes a customized webshop, and makes extensive use of the object relation browse datatype to manage the homepage and landing pages. Contactivity has been taking care of the technical maintenance of the content management system since 2009.

In 2006 Contactivity assisted UNESCO-IHE in developing a new conceptual frame for its web presence and subsequently developed its website. In the following years, Contactivity developed various additional custom-made applications and helped in the technical maintenance of the content management system.
The website was redesigned in 2011.

We created the 'Programmavergelijker' for IPP for the 2010 Dutch House of Representatives elections. The website was completely built on eZ Publish and can be maintained using this content management system as well. This CMS also makes it possible to generate party programmes and search by subject. Users can do a scan the information to discover which political party's views are closest to theirs.

ICT Update, a magazine with an associated website and e-mail newsletter, is published six times a year, in both English and French. ICT Update focuses on ICTs and other new technologies for development and is widely distributed for free among professionals and policy makers in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.

Hivos

The Hivos website makes extensive use of social media tools developed by Contactivity. The custom-made adds-on include user profiles, blogs, notifications and (social) bookmarking, personalized homepages, integration with YouTube and Flickr, a function to import and invite new users, jabber integration for site reports via a chat client. The site also features a payment gateway extension to allow Dutch users to make their donations via the Dutch banking system iDEAL. Contactivity continues to help Hivos expand this website's functionality and maintain the content management system.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) chose the eZ publish content management system for the renewal of its European, Middle Eastern and African websites. The websites feature five languages, integration with a dealer locator in Japan, Google search, integration with a mailing system and an extranet for dealers. Hitachi Construction Machinery and Scient, both located in Japan, provided the graphic guidelines and guidance for the HCME website. Agency.com -- in cooperation with eZ publish specialist Contactivity -- was responsible for the content management system configuration and implementation. BIT.nl hosts the websites. The launch of the renewed website yielded in increased traffic, the build up of an email database and a higher search engine ranking.

The LabforCulture.org portal is an initiative of the European Cultural Foundation (ECF). The site aims to facilitate cultural dialogue, exchange and cooperation across physical, cultural and imaginative borders between 48 countries in the broader Europe and beyond.

LabforCulture.org is a fully interactive portal for all those involved in arts and culture who create, collaborate, share and produce across borders in Europe. The portal provides a vast source of online information, debate and research on European cultural cooperation. It features multiple languages, a personalised space (MyLabforCulture), integration with an external search engine (Lucene), community groups, blogs, forums and tools to add and manage new content.
