The Girls' Day opens up extensive future prospects to a generation of qualified young women. With the objective of establishing contacts and drawing attention of industries and the public to girls' strengths. On Girls' Day primarily technical companies, companies with technical departments and training positions, colleges and research centres open their doors to interested girls. For the Girls' Day project silver.solutions and Mondfabrik relaunched the new website on basis of eZ Publish 3.6.1. The relaunch features the integration of external databases and follows the guidelines of Web accessibility and usability. www.girls-day.de has been optimized to handle per-minute access figures of up to 200.000 and therefore guaranteeing fast response times.
