The Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC) blends socialism and Catalan nationalism with federalism, municipalism and Europeanism.

The PSC is a government party dedicated to serving the workers of Catalonia. It is a party that has governed the city councils of Catalonia's largest cities for almost 30 years, that has governed Spain under two different Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) governments and that has been governing the Generalitat (Government of Catalonia) since 2003.
