We are happy to announce the availability of eZ Publish 4.3.0 beta2. It provides several fixes and updates to the extensions provided.

Notable changes and improvements since 4.3.0 beta1


  • Mail transport classes can now be placed inside extensions
  • eZ JSCore - file names were cut
  • Added date picker for ezdate and ezdatetime datatypes in admin2

eZ Find

  • Configurable context aware handling of attributes with respect to search, facets, filtering and sort
  • Multi-lingual imporovements: option to have each language being served from its own index with language specific spellchecks, synonyms, stemming, ...
  • Improved highlighting, now also configurable in ezfind.ini
  • Possibility to specify commit delays without using cron (useful for installations with lots of updates and UGC)
  • Improvements of the elevate administration panel

We don't recommend upgrading any production site to eZ Publish 4.3.0beta2 yet. However if you want to give it a try in a testing environment, you need to replace the distribution files and run the two database upgrade scripts in noted below:
