After the initial announce one week ago, the first bits of the eZ Conference program are unveiled. And it already rocks. Read-on for more.

While you should definitely have a look at the initial announce, with all practical information on how to register, propose a talk, become a sponsor, we will focus here on the actual content !

The program is available on the dedicated conference website : http://london2011.ez.no/Program, which we will update on the fly, as talk proposals come in and are validated.

Community Track : PHP expertise & Mobile, for now

Our beloved gathering of technology enthusiasts.... you know what ? The schedule this year will blast you. Period. In terms of content, and of form.

Profiling PHP Applications

There is only little we could unveil today, but there is much more behind the curtain. You can already book your calendar with Derick's talk about Profiling PHP Applications, based on his heavy experience with PHP internals, XDebug and application development on PHP.

Apache Zeta Components

Once done, reserve another slot for Tobias' talk about the Apache Zeta Components, formerly known as eZ Components. Tobias, leading Qafoo, will share his know-how in Object-Oriented development, within the frame of the Apache Zeta Components, high-quality, loosely coupled components, also part of eZ Publish's technological foundation.

eZ Publish and Mobile Channels

Then Łukasz will be the Mobile magician, showing how a combination of eZ Publish, REST, native, and hybrid mobile applications can get your content to reach your audience. All of it.

The Community Project

I will also give a heavy load of insight on how the eZ Publish Community Project is working, how this open-source machine is greased, and how you can be part of it.

Keynotes

So far, two keynotes are secured

  • "The Web Strategy of the Wall Street Journal in Asia",
by Simon Wan, Dow Jones Asia
  • "Lessons learned from 9 years of working with eZ Publish for everyone to benefit from"
by Tony Wood, CEO & founder at Vision with Technology.

Your turn (and : register now!)

Do you feel like sharing something ? Why don't you propose a (flash-) talk there : http://share.ez.no/ezconf11#speak ?

Also, consider registering as soon as possible to grab an early-bird rate : http://share.ez.no/ezconf11#register.

That's all folks,
(for today)
(the temporary program is here : http://london2011.ez.no/Program )

PS : haven't been able to get a talk proposal from Kate & WIlliam. Darn.
